The Queen’s Heart: Always – Part Two: The Find
Whilst Part One is now complete, I am still working on Part Two
The Queen’s Heart: Always – Part Two: The Find, due for publication on 1 December 2026, I have been experimenting with possible cover designs.
Several readers have asked why there is a Part Two.
The answer is simple: the story of the Tudor heart jewel does not end with the death of Edward VI.
Part Two follows the final journey of the jewel through the reigns of Mary I and Elizabeth I, witnessing some of the most dramatic events in Tudor history. Along the way, readers will encounter Lady Jane Grey, Philip of Spain, Wyatt’s Rebellion, Mary Queen of Scots, Robert Dudley, and the rise of Elizabeth’s Golden Age.
The Find then carries the story forward more than four centuries, culminating in the remarkable discovery of the Tudor heart jewel in a Warwickshire field in 2019, before its eventual acquisition by the British Museum in 2026.
In many ways, Part Two is not merely a sequel. It is the final chapter of a story that began with Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon and remained unfinished for nearly five hundred years.
