Ordering from Outside the UK? A Quick Amazon Tip
I had an interesting (and useful) moment this week that felt worth sharing.
A reader in the United States wanted to order my book via Amazon but kept running into problems and assumed it was unavailable. In fact, I had already had Amazon sales to the US and France, so I knew it must be working.
The issue turned out to be Amazon storefront redirection. Amazon automatically pushes customers to their local site, which can sometimes make books appear unavailable, even when they are not.
If you are ordering from outside the UK and encounter this issue:
• Go directly to www.amazon.com
• Search for the book on the US site (rather than amazon.co.uk or another regional version)
• If Amazon redirects you, scroll to the bottom of the page and set the region to United States, then refresh
• Select your preferred format (paperback or Kindle) and order as normal
It is also important to note that there are other books titled The Reflection in the Mirror that are not mine and are not Tudor historical fiction set in 1540.
To ensure you find the correct book, please also search by author name: Gemma Morris-Conway.
Once we followed these steps, the order went through immediately.
I am sharing this in case it helps any non-UK readers who may have experienced the same issue, and to thank everyone who has taken the time to order and support the book.
My second novel in the Murder in the Tower saga, The Wolf of Whitehall, will be published in late February 2026.
