🌹 One of Norfolk’s Greatest Tudor Treasures
Hidden away in the Norfolk countryside, Oxburgh Hall is one of the county’s most remarkable Tudor houses.
Built by the Bedingfeld family in the fifteenth century, it has survived religious upheaval, political change and centuries of English history. Walking through its rooms gives you a genuine sense of what life may have been like during the reigns of Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I.
It is exactly the sort of place that inspires my writing. Seeing these buildings in person helps transform historical records into living, breathing stories.
